The water quality in our ponds is regularly monitored throughout the year ensuring parameters such as oxygen, ammonia and nitrites all stay within the optimum levels required for growing carp. This is helped with a plentiful supply of fresh spring water running through each pond which increases oxygen levels and flushes away waste.

Each of the ponds is stocked at low levels which ensure plenty of space for our carp to grow and so produces the fine quality fish that we pride ourselves in supplying. We do not farm fish under intensive conditions preferring to produce low numbers of the best quality fish you are likely to find in the UK.

C4 – C6

C4’s – Our four summer carp are very popular and are a selection of our best C3’s we have kept to grow on for another year. They average around 10lbs and range from 7-12lbs, fish of this age settle quickly into a new fishery soon after stocking. This results in very good growth from the off and if the conditions are correct 5lb growth in the first summer is not uncommon with our fish.

C5’s – As we get into our five summer carp onwards we really are looking at the cream of the crop. Carp of this size and larger have been selected each year for body shape, scale pattern and potential for huge growth. These fish will grow very well after stocking with the majority approaching 20lbs after the first summer. They will quickly make a big impact in any specimen carp fishery.

C6’s – Our six summer fish are very special carp indeed. They represent the very best we have to offer in both potential and immediate impact. These fish will blend into any big carp water to complement existing stock or help to create a first class new carp fishery. Either way they represent a sound investment for the future and will bring many happy moments to anglers for years to come

C1 – C3

C2’s – Two summer carp are much hardier than C1’s so survival rates are very good. They are ideal of on growing or for stocking into pleasure and match fisheries. Our C2’s are very popular with clients who are looking to get a lot of fish for their money.

C3’s – These three summer carp are the best C2’s grown on for another year and offer very good value for money for anyone starting a new fishery or if you are looking to boost existing stock numbers. They are ideal if you have time to allow your stock to grow on with the larger C3’s making double figures within their first summer in the right environment.
